  • What is the best time to visit?
    The best time to visit is from November to April, when the weather is dry and sunny. The rainy season lasts from May to October, but temperatures are still pleasant.
  • Is there internet in Cuba?
    Yes, but the connection is limited. Internet is available in selected locations via Wi-Fi hotspots, and access is with a prepaid ETECSA card.
  • What is the local cuisine like?
    Cuban cuisine is simple but tasty. Typical dishes include ropa vieja (braised beef), moros y cristianos (rice with black beans), fried plátanos (bananas) and of course world-famous Cuban cocktails such as mojitos and daiquiris.
  • Can we pay there with US dollars?
    No, US dollars are not officially accepted for payment in Cuba. It is advisable to carry Euros or Canadian dollars, which can be exchanged for Cuban pesos (CUP). In addition, exchanging US dollars in Cuba carries a surcharge, so it is preferable to exchange other currencies.
