1.-3. DAY: SALVADOR
Day 1: Fly from Prague to El Salvador, accommodation in the capital San Salvador.
2. Day 2: Ruta de las Flores (“Flower Route”); a trip to a mountainous area of coffee plantations, famous for the abundance of flowers everywhere you look; the picturesque villages of Nahuizalco with its local Pipil population, or the gastronomic centre of Jauyúa, where food markets are regularly held on weekends (there will be a tasting opportunity); the Chorros de la Calera waterfalls; accommodation in the pastel-coloured town of Ataco; those interested can end the day at the thermal baths of Santa Teresa.
3. Day 3: Walking tour in Los Volcanes National Park (Santa Ana, Izalco and Cerro Verde volcanoes, views of Lake Coatepeque, hummingbird and parrot watching…); visit to the archaeological site of Joya de Cerén, nicknamed “American Pompeii” (UNESCO site) and the ruins of the Mayan city of San Andrés; transfer to the beaches of the Pacific coast – swimming on the Costa del Sol – overnight at the coast.
4.-6. DAY: NICARAGUA
4. Day 4: Departure to the port of La Union; sail across the Gulf of Fonseca to Nicaragua to the fishing village of Potosí (along the way, views of the surrounding islands or flocks of cormorants and pelicans), drive through the cattle countryside around the highest volcano, San Cristobal, to the colonial city of León (UNESCO), accommodation in the center and a walk through the city (Asunción Cathedral).

6. Day 6. Afternoon free city tour of Granada – one of the oldest cities on the South American continent, colonial centre and a very pleasant local evening atmosphere.
DAY 7-12: COSTA RICA

8. Day 8: Monteverde: Curi-Cancha NP – walk through the park led by an experienced local guide (many species of birds, butterflies, but also monkeys, or perhaps the rare Crested Quesal); optional afternoon: true Costa Rican “canopy” – a ride in the treetops of the rainforest or a walk on the suspended footbridges; or visit to a coffee plantation with a talk on coffee processing and tasting.

11. Optional rafting on the Pacuare River (breakfast and delicious lunch); transfer to the Caribbean coast – Cahuita/Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.
Day 12: Cahuita NP – walk through the national park, swim on the beautiful white beaches, and perhaps relax with a drink in one of the many local bars.
DAY 13-15: PANAMA
Day 13: Bus to the border and on to Panama to the port of Almirante: NP Bastimentos – by speedboat to the Caribbean archipelago of Bocas del Toro with its predominantly Creole population.
Day 14: Boat trip to see dolphins, starfish and other jewels on the more remote Isla Zapatillas; swim, walk or snorkel, lunch included.
Day 15: Fly to the capital – Panama City, tour the Panama Canal, visit the historic city center (UNESCO).
DAY 16-17: FLY BACK TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC
According to the departure time free program, souvenir shopping and air return to Prague.
