To trek in the Peruvian Cordillera Huayhuash is to experience a true high altitude expedition. Our eight-day journey will take you into the heart of the Andean mountains, crossing mountain passes up to 5,000 meters high, admiring turquoise lakes and constantly surrounded by majestic peaks such as Yerupaja (the second highest mountain in Peru – 6,634 m), Siula Grande (6,344 m) and more. This is a moderate trek (also challenging due to the higher altitude), suitable for those who desire incredible views, physical challenge and the tranquility of mountain nature at the same time.
