DAY 1: BY AIR PRAGUE – SAO PAOLO

Departure in the afternoon to Sao Paolo, Brazil (one change in Frankfurt).

2. DAY 2: IGUAZÚ FALLS FROM THE BRAZILIAN SIDE

Transfer by connecting flight from Sao Paolo to Iguazú Falls and tour the falls from the Brazilian side.

3. DAY 2: IGUAZÚ FALLS FROM THE ARGENTINE SIDE

The waterfalls from the Argentine side (UNESCO): train to the impressive viewpoint of the “Devil’s Backbone”, and further walks through the park at your own pace – many unforgettable views. For those interested, an optional trip to the border tri-border of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.

4. DAY 4: BUENOS AIRES

Morning flight to Buenos Aires. Sightseeing tour of the capital of Argentina; visit to the Italian quarter La Boca – typical for its colourful houses, the presidential palace with the balcony made famous by Evita’s speeches, the cathedral with the remains of General San Martín – the liberator of Argentina or the Recoleta cemetery – resting place of the most influential Argentines; in the evening we can spend a tango or a real Argentine steak.

5. DAY 5: FLIGHT TO THE LAND OF FIRE – USHUAIA (PATAGONIA)

Morning flight to Patagonia, to the Land of Fire – Ushuaia, afternoon hiking trip to Tierra del Fuego NP (Land of Fire); panoramas of snow-capped mountain peaks and the bay.

6. DAY 6: HIKE IN TIERRA DEL FUEGO

A full day hiking trip in Tierra del Fuego National Park.

7. DAY 7: PENGUINS – CRUISE ON THE BEAGLE CHANNEL

Optional in suitable weather conditions – sightseeing boat trip on the Beagle Channel (price approx. 100 USD) – an unforgettable walk among penguins and observation of other wild animals.

8. DAY 8: FLIGHT TO EL CALAFATE

Transfer to El Calafate, located on the shores of Lago Argentino. Walking tour of the town, optional visit to the Glaciarium (glacier museum), shopping – preparation for a stay in Torres del Paine.

9. DAY 5: PERITO MORENO AND TRANSFER TO TORRES DEL PAINE

An unforgettable trip to the Perito Moreno glacier, whose walls (5 km wide and 60 m high) are constantly breaking off chunks of ice that fall with a crash into the lake; then transfer to Chile, toTorres del Paine National Park.

10. DAY 10: HIKE IN TORRES DEL PAINE

Hiking in Torres del Paine NP; catamaran trip across Lake Pehoe; hiking around the lake, views of the dominant mountain massifs of Torres del Paine – Los Cuernos. Glacier at Lake Grey.

11. DAY 11: TRIP TO TORRES DEL PAINE

Trip to the famous Three Towers – Base de las Torres lookout, Chileno refugio, Amarga lagoon

DAY 12: TORRES DEL PAINE SAFARI – COUGAR TRACKING

A day of tracking and animal watching in the national park – will we see the American puma this time? A unique trip to the less visited corners of the national park with a focus on wildlife spotting and photography.

DAY 13: RUPESTRE AND TRANSFER TO PUNTA ARENAS

Trip to Rupestre – in the vicinity of Puerto Natales, prehistoric murals, a walk through the beautiful countryside and optional authentic Chilean barbecue. Those interested can also visit the famous Milodón Cave (prehistoric site of a giant animal – called the milodon. In the afternoon transfer to Punta Arenas.

DAY 14: FURTE BULNES, PUNTA ARENAS

Fuerte Bulnes – site of the first European settlement of Patagonia; here a walking tour and visit to the information learning centre. Walking tour of Punta Arenas. Optional visit to the interesting museum of replicas of historic overseas ships (Museo Marítimo).

DAY 15: FROM PATAGONIA, TRANSFER TO THE ATACAMA DESERT

Depart Patagonia via Santiago de Chile to the north of Chile, to the Atacama Desert. Arrival in Calama and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama.

DAY 16: SAN PEDRO AND SURROUNDINGS, VALLE DE LA LUNA

Drive to Valle de la Luna (translated as “valley of the moon”); sand dunes, Las Tres Marias natural salt monument , visit to the desert village of Toconao, flamingo colony at Chaxa lagoon; leisurely evening in San Pedro de Atacama.

DAY 17: EL TATIO GEYSERS, CACTUS VALLEY

Hike to the highest geothermal field in the world (4,300 m) with more than 80 geysers, the highest of which, El Tatio, gushes up to 30 m; for those interested, a bath in the thermal springs; stop in the cactus valley; optional trip to Valle de Muerte.

DAY 18: FLIGHT TO SANTIAGO DE CHILE

According to the flight schedule, transfer to Calama and from there fly to the capital of Chile – Santiago de Chile. Sightseeing of the historic centre, evening entertainment in the Barrio Bellavista.

DAY 19: TRANSFER TO EASTER ISLAND

Flight to Easter Island. Afternoon walk or relax on the beach.

DAY 20: EASTER ISLAND – GRAND TOUR AROUND THE ISLAND

Exploring the main archaeological sites

• Start at Hanga Roa – Depart the hotel and head to Rano Raraku, a volcanic crater that served as a quarry for most of the moai (monumental statues) on the island.
• Rano Raraku – Tour the site where numerous unfinished statues can be seen still attached to the mother rock, providing a unique insight into the manufacturing process of these impressive statues.
• Ahu Tongariki – The largest ceremonial platform on the island with 15 restored moai statues, considered one of the most magical sites.
• Anakena Beach – Relax on the beautiful white sand beach, surrounded by palm trees and two other moai on the Ahu Nau Nau platform.

Evening: Return to Hanga Roa. Dinner at a local restaurant with traditional fish specialties or enjoy the festive Rapa Nui dance and songs during the evening show.

DAY 21: EASTER ISLAND – SMALL ISLAND TOUR

• Orongo – Visit the ceremonial village complex on the rim of the Rano Kau crater, site of the famous Birdman and his rituals.
• Rano Kau – A tour of the crater with its huge lake that provides a home to many endemic species of plants and birds.
• Ahu Akivi – Visit a group of seven moai, unique in that they are the only statues facing the sea.
• Puna Pau – A stop at another quarry where the red volcanic pukao hats that are placed on the heads of some moai were made.

DAY 22: RETURN FROM EASTER ISLAND.

According to the flight schedule, bid farewell to Easter Island and return to Santiago de Chile.

DAY 23: DEPARTURE TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC

According to the flight schedule, transfer to the airport and depart for Europe.
